PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

Calcium

Calcium is very important for pregnant women, but unfortunately most food supplements recommended for pregnancy do not contain it.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, calcium requirements are 1000-1200 mg/day. Calcium is important for the proper development of bones and teeth in the fetus. To meet his needs, he draws calcium from his mother's reserves.

It is therefore important to guarantee a sufficient intake of this mineral salt throughout the pregnancy. The planned dose of calcium in Pregnatabs Calcium is the ideal dose taking into account normal nutritional intake (dairy products, bread, other foods, etc.). Calcium is an essential mineral for pregnant women but also for the unborn child. During these nine months, a good intake is therefore doubly necessary. Being the basis for the development of bones and teeth, calcium is very important for your baby. Combined with vitamin D, it binds to the bones and thus promotes the construction of a strong skeleton.

Magnesium:

It participates in the metabolism of all our organs. During your pregnancy, you need more magnesium because the baby uses most of your reserves. Thus, a quantity of 480 mg of magnesium per day is recommended, whereas it is only 330 mg normally. Considering the magnesium assimilated naturally in a varied diet, the quantity of magnesium present in Pregnatabs Calcium is amply sufficient.
